The next version of Microsoft's (MSFT) SQL Server database, which forms a big part of the company's growing Server & Tools unit, will amount to a huge upgrade, writes Network World. New business intelligence, data replication, and high-speed retrieval capabilities are touted. Accompanying those features are higher license fees.
