The FDA approves the use of Gilead's (GILD +0.6%) Truvada treatment to to "reduce the risk of sexually acquired HIV-1 infection in adults who do not have HIV but are at high risk of becoming infected." Truvada is the first drug to be approved for HIV prevention in uninfected adults. (FDA PR)
