The next iPhone (AAPL) will feature a thinner display thanks to its use of in-cell touch panels, the WSJ reports. Past rumors have indicated Apple will adopt in-cell tech, which also lowers costs and improves image quality. Separately, Piper's Gene Munster reports a survey of 400 consumers found 65% stating their next phone will be an iPhone. However, Munster adds 52% of respondents were already iPhone owners, well above the iPhone's estimated 32% share of U.S. smartphone owners.

iPhoneV will do well as many of us are ready to upgrade from IV to V.

Samsung Galaxy phones will do very well too but many iphone users will likely staying with Apple rather than jumping back and forth.

I am an iPhone user probably also going to upgrade to iPhone V.
My question is who are the 400 consumers in the survey, if they are so iPhone-centric. Friends of a stock analyst? What does that tell you?

Un- scientific sample.....look around at lunch- and watch people with their phones- and count......how many have iPhones... I betcha you will see something like 7 out of 10...(70%).... seriously..that's all I see... I have a 4.... my 2 year contract expires in Nov....so yea, I will probably go with the 5. One other item no one talks about..... it's one thing to gauge how many iPhones are out there for adults....... when you finally have to buy your kid a "smart phone" and my guess the age of entry is dropping...... and you asked your kid- want a Samsung.... what do you think the answer is? Rightttttttttt ! This will just continue to grow grow grow.......

I have observed a strong correlation between cell phone usage and the operation of SUVs by women. I have concluded that cell phones must be required ear appendages for women driving SUVs.

No...SUVs cause females to GROW cell phones on their ears...

...if they buy an SUV, they should also put aside money for surgical removal of these hideous growths...
