Airlines' punctuality improved a bit in 2009, according to the Air Travel Consumer Report. Hawaiian Airlines (HA) sported the best performance, with 92.1% of its flights arriving within 15 minutes of schedule. Southwest Airlines (LUV) was second at 83%. Among the large "hub and spoke" carriers, United Airlines (UAUA), which ranked 17th a year ago, scored 81%.

    With some 98% of its operations having flight time of less than an hour (much less, most of the time) just how impressive is this?
