Bernanke Q&A: A smug Chairman refers to his collection of editorials from 2008 and 2009 warning of Fed policies causing hyperinflation and a collapse in the dollar. Others keep a collection of Bernanke's predictions, including those of 5 years ago to the day: "The U.S. economy appears likely to expand at a moderate pace ... with growth strengthening a bit in 2008." The Fed was slashing rates a month later.

    Understatement of the decade:

Bernanke: "The congress has the authority to over rule the fed and substitute their own monetary policies...but I wouldn't reccomend that."

This congress seems clueless...asking Bernanke all kinds of questions they should be asking themselves. I kept waiting for one of them to ask Bernanke if he could reccomend a good auto mechanic...

he knows at this point on the curve, that lying is the only option. greenscam came to the same realization. he doesn't wanna get the blame for a collapse, so he keeps lying, in better ways. he's a pathological liar now, and can't back out...
