UnitedHealth (UNH +2.25%) Q2: net profit +5.5% to $1.34B; total enrollment in health plans +5% to 35.9M, boosted by acquisition of XL Health. Increases FY EPS forecasts for a second time, now expecting $4.90-$5 vs. $4.80-$4.95 prior and consensus of $5.01. UNH's earnings will "set the tone" for its peers, says an analyst.
