The ECB says it will stop accepting Greek sovereign debt and other assets backed by Athens as collateral as of July 25, but will review the situation after meeting with Greek banks. The ECB's action forces Greek banks to rely on the Bank of Greece for emergency funds, which will be more expensive than the ECB's credit.
