Ivanhoe Mines (IVN -5.5%) fell to $8.40 after completing a previously-announced $1.8B rights offering aimed at financing its Oyu Tolgoi copper/gold project. Ivanhoe issued 260M shares in the offering, which translates into a price of $6.92. As expected, 51% owner Rio Tinto (RIO) bought as many shares as it was legally allowed to. (PR)
