Toyota's (TM) troubles stem from excessive cost-cutting, says the automaker's former U.S. chief. “The root cause of their problems is that the company was hijacked, some years ago, by anti-(Toyoda) family, financially-oriented pirates." More than 20,000 U.S. employees bear the burden.
