The USFDA has lifted an import alert it had placed on Dr. Reddy Laboratories (RDY -0.6%) at its chemical manufacturing facility in Cuernavaca, Mexico. The Mexico facility was inspected by the agency in November 2010, and based on observations, a Warning Letter was shared with the company on June 14, 2011. Now, with the satisfactory closure of observations in the warning Letter and the lifting of the import alert, Dr. Reddy's is free to once again import products to the US from this facility.
