The "Most Dangerous Call You Will Hear Today": Electro Optical Sciences (MELA -20.4%) downgraded to "sell short." It's not such a bad company, Jeff Matthews says, and to slap a short-sell rating in a world where short-sellers have been blamed for so much is "almost inconceivable."

Too small a name for my portfolio but it looks like the stock has already washed out sellers/weak hands on massive volume. The Call may be correct but it looks like only a handful of people were able to get the short trade on before it hit $6.50 and bounced so I don't know how helpful it was.

MELAfind will save lives, and preserve the quality of life in victims of melanoma, or people who are suspicious of it. Once diagnosed with melanoma, it's a constant effort and concern to monitor the body. Looking in the mirror, asking family members to help, wondering, anxiety, etc. Melafind can chart any number of suspicious lesions and then check them again in 6 months. It works with the doctor, and patient, to blueprint any areas of concern. Imagine the reassurance a patient (and doctor) will feel that they now have the technology to aid the naked eye, in diagnosing a mole. Just as an MD has x-ray, CAT, MRI, an MD/Dermatologist has MelaFind. There is no reason not to approve. Preservation and enhancement of life is the objective.
