Indonesia's Constitutional Court rules the government can't press ahead with its plan to buy a 7% stake in a local unit of Newmont Mining (NEM +0.4%) without first securing parliamentary approval, raising fresh doubts about the deal more than a year after it was proposed. The government offered in May 2011 to buy the stake for $246.8M, but parliament opposed it.
