Hanesbrands (HBI) Q2 beats on the EPS but comes up short on revenue. Net profit slumped 99% Y/Y as discontinued businesses pressured its bottom line and gross margin narrowed to 31.1% from 35.1%, largely due to higher cotton costs. Innerwear sales - its largest sales contributor +2.2%, outerwear +1.2% and international sales -1.8%. Shares -1%.
