Genworth (GNW -7.7%) CEO Martin Klein, under pressure to shed its money-losing mortgage insurance unit, says the cost of winning boldholder approval "could be significant" and spinning off the unit "may not be viable" now. “They can’t really give the market what it wants, which is a very clear game plan in terms of what the go-forward strategy is," a UBS analyst says.
