Will the solar industry survive? Yes
Will some companies go under? Yes
    Will some companies merge/acquire? Yes
When the dust settles which company is the most likely to come out on top and then dominate the market as a long lasting profitable company? FSLR.
Might take a few years so I would not get obsessed with current earnings, etc....it's a horse race and FSLR is the most likely company to win. Added to my position.

I have to disagree. The Chinese solars will dominate over the long term. The chinese government has incredible goals for their domestic solar industry. Do you think FSLR will be a part of it. Hell NO! especially after the tariffs the US govt put on chinese solars. The U.S. just ruined their chance of getting in on the biggest solar market in the world which is China. The best thing is that investors see these chinese solar companies as being in big trouble because of their debt so their valuations are rediculously low, so while you pay top dollar for FSLR ill watch the incredible growth that the chinese solar market is about to enter and buy at rock bottom prices.
