Shares of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) come roaring back from an AH plunge following earnings. Execs appear to have turned helped sentiment around during an earnings CC with the revelation that the coffee seller will utilize a new forecasting methodology to predict demand. By all appearance the new "methodology" appears to be a fancy way of saying the company reached too high with original demand projections. (transcript) GMCR +12.9% premarket.

Now this is going to be interesting!

My question, is that if the company has turned
the corner on this issue, why were shares halted?

Was this an overzealous trap set for shorts?

Never invested in GMCR but it has always held my interest
due to the supposed issues with the company and volatility of the stock.

With price movements like these it's obvious why investors have turned their back on the markets.
