Teradata (TDC +6.3%) jumps after announcing Malaysian carrier DiGi will expand its use of the company's data warehousing and analytical database solutions, which have already led the company to be hyped up as a big data play. But it could just be the Street has become more bullish after taking a closer look at yesterday morning's Q2 report, in which Teradata raised its 2012 EPS guidance range to $2.72-$2.82 (consensus is for $2.69). (CC transcript) Update: Sterne Agee has upgraded Teradata. "Analytics remains a strategic buy for most Global enterprises and 2H12 guidance appears beatable."
