Apple (AAPL), a major Sharp customer, is probably closely watching Foxconn's attempts to renegotiate its 9.9% investment in the Japanese company after its shares plunged last week following a profit warning and fell another 5.7% today. "Apple needs Sharp," says analyst Alberto Moel. "Sharp’s capacity is large enough that if it were taken offline, it could hurt Apple."

    Appl also has a small stake in Foxconn, if i remembered correctly. So, isnt this also in Apple's interest???
