Kosmos Energy (KOS +6.4%) reports a smaller than expected Q2 loss of $0.07/share vs. analyst consensus of a $0.09 loss and a $0.03 loss a year ago. Revenue declined 11% Y/Y to $112.7M vs. expectations of $113.5M. KOS says it has significantly improved the productivity of five wells that are part of the Jubilee field off the coast of Ghana.
