BP (BP +1.2%) continues to make progress on executing its post-Macondo business strategy, Oppenheimer says, believing that reaching a reasonable settlement with the U.S. government regarding the oil spill would remove a major uncertainty and boost the stock. The firm also thinks the sale of its 50% stake in TNK-BP could generate more than $20B.
