More on Leap Wireless' Q2: The carrier had a net loss of 289K subscribers (205K voice, 84K broadband), a reversal from Q1's 258K net adds. Churn soared to 4.4% from Q1's 3.3%, and service revenue growth decelerated to 6.7% from a prior 14.1%. Cost per gross add (a concern going in) rose $68 Q/Q to $296, and ARPU fell $0.95 to $41.64. LEAP -12.1% AH. Rival MetroPCS (PCS), which posted a somewhat better Q2 report, could also be under pressure tomorrow. (PR)
