In an unusual attack, Apple's (AAPL +2.3%) Steve Jobs posts a letter skewering Adobe's (ADBE -2.3%) Flash technology, saying it has "major technical drawbacks" and that the companies have "few joint interests." Two big dogs mixing it up. I'm still trying to figure out why I'm supposed to need FLASH. IPhone isn't the only smart phone without it.

Adobe products are constantly begging for updates, and when they do update, the length and scope makes me wonder if they are doing more than updating. I suspect the new focus seems to be gathering information.
