Any disappointment over Newcastle's (NCT) earning $0.16/share available for distribution in Q2 (vs. $0.20 dividend in Q1) should be tempered by the earnings call disclosure the company had $240M in uninvested capital for most of the quarter. All of this has now been put to work, says Chariman Wes Edens, and Q3 results should benefit. (earnings)

    I liked the part of the earnings call where Christie introduced Mr. McDougall.

     

    I dozed off after that.
