A federal appeals court has upheld a 2011 USPTO ruling that declared a Rambus (RMBS +2.2%) patent that covers DRAM interfaces, and which has been asserted in multiple lawsuits, to be invalid (.pdf). It looks as if the Street was expecting this decision.
