Coffee watch: J.M. Smucker (SJM) showed a promising 4% increase in its U.S. retail coffee segment in Q2, with Folgers Gourmet Selections and Millstone K-Cups contributing gains. Both Starbucks (SBUX) and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) compete directly with the company and hope more pressured consumers aren't starting to trade down.

For stock price value tho sjm is not "trading down" from GMCR and SBUX. Smucker has the staying power for continued growth.
