Boeing (NYSE:BA) is looking to cut the number of time-consuming and expensive test flights its carries out on each 787 that rolls off the production line in an attempt to speed up delivery of the much delayed jet. Boeing has conducted up to eight flights but the company wants the process to be like that for the 737: "It rolls out [of the factory], take it for a spin, let the customer have a flight, then go."
