Gazprom (OGZPY.PK) and Total (TOT +0.4%) are considering investing in Israel's Leviathan gas field, a joint venture owned by Delek Group and Noble Energy (NBL -1.6%). NBL has nearly a 40% stake in the venture, and the project needs a strategic partner to finance the continued development of the field. They want someone experienced in liquefied natural gas supply, as a large proportion of the Leviathan gas field is slated for export.
