A steadily rising TED spread, and a drop in Chinese markets that parallels the recent decline in troubled European bourses, seem to indicate that recent jitters extend well beyond the eurozone.

    What cracks me up are the people who said "this is a global market" on the big "recovery" pump from March '09, are the same people who say we can "decouple" from all the Euro/global issues.

    Even if the "Decouple theory" was half-true, how could you possibly decouple from California? It may be Arnold's baby now but soon it will be the property of the American Taxpayer - Debtor in possession.
    Don't blame me! I left California when the Unions took over the California legislature - Saw the writing on the wall.
