  • pure nonsense..just a strong market..those comments generally indicate you've been on the wrong side and place blame elsewhere

  • Perhaps you didn't mean it quite so literally, but the market isn't what one could classify as strong right now. The technicals look pretty bad across the board, complete with inter-market divergences, and low volume. However, that doesn't always stop the market from advancing. There is good reason to believe we're putting in some sort of top in the near-term, though. May turn out to be a longer-term one.

  • After underperforming the VIX I think VXX should be at least performing as well as the VIX witch was up 9% today. This fund is shorted by big institutions while small investors loses.

  • There are many articles on this website that explain the disconnect between the VIX and VXX. Please read them so that you can understand why VXX does not move dollar for dollar with the VIX.

  • No top yet. Take a look at SPX 1500. Long history. We haven't had enough volume or froth and still have Fed working their bicycle pump.

    Closing Comments:
    The DJ-30 led the charge (down move) which is a MUST for any further potential downside;
    NDX: we failed to close at or below 2768.09
    Gold: (December) not reaching 1644.50 will induce a dip back down to 1618.90
    Crude: no change down to 96.41 although more likely 95.69
    ESU12: we took out the 1416.00 support pivot, therefore down to 1401.00; I need to review today in order to fit it into the picture; hopefully later I’ll update the results

    1:13EST
    NDX: still waiting to see the final print on today’s high, but none the less; but the call was money on the target
    We MUST have a daily close at or below 2768.09 to ONLY move the PUT IN A TOP (major) door handle
    A daily close at or below 2717.16 opens the door (slightly)
    A daily close at or below 2683.31 completely opens the door
    A daily close at or below 2655.81 confirms a top in place.
    As such 2242.87 is the down price target
    Keynote: we MUST have a daily close at or below 2768.09 to ONLY consider that this move down has legs.

  • I'm surprise how petty the comments are. My intention was to read comments for perspective but it turns out to be kids trying to show off how great they are.
