The Pentagon reaches a deal worth $70B (video) with a Lockheed Martin (LMT -0.75%) and Boeing (BA -2.2%) JV to send 150 rockets into space through 2030. The figure is double the Pentagon's forecast five months ago, mainly because the program has been extended from 2019 to 2030, although cost overruns and oversight issues have also played a part.
