The cost of the BP-operated Skarv field offshore Norway reportedly could increase more than 10B Norwegian kroner ($1.69B) from the original estimate of NOK34B. Production start-up at Skarv originally was planned for 2011 but has been delayed until Q4 2012 due to FPSO repairs which took several months longer than planned.
