Chicago Fed President Charles Evans continues to urge for "even stronger steps" from the FOMC. The Fed should also make clear it will not raise the federal funds rate until the unemployment rate drops below 7%, even if inflation accelerates well beyond the 2% target. Evans has no vote on the FOMC until next year.
