Costco, Costco, Costco (COST). That's the message getting pounded out by Mitt Romney and his wife in recent interviews that attempt to shine a light into the candidate's personal life. The bit of unexpected press for the company includes the tidbit that dress shirts worthy of the aspiring leader of the free world can be found in the back aisles of the retailer's stores. No mention of WMT.

About 5% of white voters have a favorable opinion of Obama but are undecided about voting for Obama....this is who Romney needs to
    convince....

bbro, white men will vote in mega amounts for Romney as will married women ! The ethnic vote is the whole ball of wax and if Romeny wants to compete he needs Hispanics in swing states.

But, to the current..... Costco is a/o/k ,but, we don't have them down here. But,young Costco brought PriceSmart here and broke away from papa. We get the same great shirts and the same Kirkland stuff ! Great way to shop. Costco and PriceSmart

Sam, Costco & Pricemart were the same. Pricemart was the Latin America division. The son went on his own and took LA for himself. Now they share products and work together, but, Pricermart has an untapped region and will grow faster.DL assumed all knew this, but,my uncle is in his own world ! :>)) pok

I am afraid the GOP has blown it with the Hispanic (non Cuban) vote this election cycle...Romney needs 60% of white vote...last time a GOP candidate got that % was HW Bush against Dukakis....

Both parties are corrupt to the core. Don't waste your vote -- vote for a third party (any third party).

I'm having a hard time picturing Romney in CostCo.

Having a hard time picturing Romney doing any chores at all.

Kinda picture Romney sending his manservants out to do it all for him.

I shop at Costco too, by the way, and, to add something to the conversation, I'll say that their prices are not always the best, but I really think whoever picks out their products has their thumb squarely on the consumer's interests and desires. Seriously, if those folks ever lose their jobs CostCo is in trouble.

They always have precisely what I never knew I wanted and needed sitting in the front of the aisles waiting for me.

I'd love to know how they do it.

Too bad the current director and co-founder (ex-president and CEO) Jim Sinegal is a stanch Democrat ;)
