Lawmakers are sprinting to wrap up the financial reform bill by tomorrow in order to pass legislation before July 4th and not after, prompting The Atlantic to wonder what's so bad about drawing out the process for a few extra weeks if it means a better bill?

    What is a few extra weeks or maybe a few extra years. Give the lobbyists more time to work their magic.
