Shares of Under Armour (UA +2.8%) and Nike (NKE +2.5%) run higher on enthusiasm that's been stirred up in part by a positive note from Stifel Nicolaus on Nike's sales trends. Momentum traders seem convinced the breakout is a sign of things to come for the pair of stocks.

Is that to say UA has not already experienced a "breakout"? Look at the charts. Appears to be a final plug before pulling the plug.

UA @ 3.67Xsales and 61Xearnings sure isn't cheap. Fundamentals no longer matter...that is until they do and when they do....this thing will drop like a rock CFO just sold ALL his shares Huge insider buying..The PONZI scheme continues

Yup. NKE is solid, but I wouldn't touch UA with a ten-foot pole

UA has a cash crunch coming for those of you that haven't been looking at their balance sheet. Share dilution is coming.

NKE reports earnings on Sept. 27 th.

Since last quarter, there has been a successful “non-sponsored” media blitz from the Olympics for Nike, back to school sales, and a new $300.00 shoe debut!
I would expect a good jump in earnings and share price.
