European shares buck the overnight trend in the U.S. and Asia and find themselves higher in early trading. Maybe there's new hope that Ben Bernanke will hand out the candy after all, bringing sparkling growth to the U.S., reversing China's slowdown and lifting the eurozone out of its debt-induced haze.
