Kinder Morgan (KMI) said Friday it agrees to pay $110M to settle investors' lawsuits related to its acquisition of El Paso. The companies had faced a harsh critique of their handling of the deal, and some El Paso shareholders questioned whether they were shortchanged. Some also alleged Goldman Sachs shouldn't have had any role in the deal because of its ownership stake in KMI.
