Contango Oil & Gas (MCF) says its Chairman, Kenneth Peak, plans to sell up to 250K shares under Rule 144. Peak, who has been given a six-month medical leave of absence, is selling the shares to generate liquidity for estate and tax planning purposes. After the proposed sales, Peak will own 1,750,000 shares and will have voting rights over an additional 284,296 shares or 13.3% of the total shares outstanding. Shares -3.5% AH.
