PC DRAM prices fell again in 2H August, DRAMeXchange reports: declining orders from struggling PC OEMs led prices for 4GB and 2GB modules to drop 4% and 2.4%, respectively. Top DRAM makers are said to be allocating more capacity to server and mobile chips, which are seeing healthier demand, but the industry still depends heavily on PC sales.
