Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) hires Bayer CropScience CEO Sandra Peterson to oversee J&J's recall-plagued consumer health and manufacturing operations. Peterson's recruitment is the first major executive hire by Alex Gorsky since he became J&J CEO in April as he looks to make good on a pledge to fix the company's quality, legal and ethical problems. The recalls are getting ridiculous, every week something is getting recalled. Is anything of quality being made? Or are we just pickier and more strict now?

Anywhere in this world that you traveled, all the locals wanted was U.S. made products. Now our compitition comes from Asia, Europe & other countries that still show some pride in what they do. They don't look at the clock other than to see when to have lunch.
I still remember a friend who was traveling, & after Gorbachev changed the world forever with Glas- nos he was in Leningrad & the locals offered him $100. for his very used $35.00 jeans. Not anymore ! Sadly
