"China keen to shift world RE supply balance"
"Global RE demand to increase steadily due to new applications"
"Future for RE magnets is bright"
    "RE over-supply in not imminent"

Molycorp MCP has the potential for a +50% return in six months. The stock could easily climb to 18. Downside for this commodity stock is limited.

Yes, the options are richly priced: high IV. There is still material risk in MCP.

Really? The Sep 10's are trading at par with bid under stock and ask above - about 4 cent spread. Stock 12.71 - option 2.69 to 2.73 for example.

Great to play with the several percent moves this stock does intraday!
    Just got to be nimble.

I am long AVL. I started a position in July 2012 after listening to a presentation by the current CEO. I like what I heard and liked him. Stock is up 32% since I started the position. Its got my attention. Sector is good, but more research is needed to see if they can become a player in the sector and how much upside it has.
