Global chip sales jumped more than 50% in the first half after second-quarter sales moved up 7% Q/Q, the Semiconductor Industry Association reports, but don't expect it to continue in the second half. Echoing the group, Wedbush warns of "increased risk of downside" on below-seasonal build forecasts for PCs and handsets.
