AT&T (T -1.2%) and Verizon (VZ -1.2%) slip a little in early trading after Stifel downgrades the giant telcos to Hold. The shares of both companies have performed well in 2012, as their wireless margins jump thanks to share gains, premium pricing, and slowing smartphone upgrades. Hudson Square downgraded AT&T to Hold yesterday.
