Apple (AAPL +1.7%) and its suppliers are outperforming after the iPhone 5's initial stock apparently sold out less than an hour after pre-orders began. CRUS +7.1%. SWKS +2.6%. OVTI +1.9%. TQNT +4.3%. BRCM +1.7%. Thus far at least, the situation bears a resemblance to the 4S launch, with criticism about an "incremental" upgrade and other issues failing to prevent huge sales from occurring. And the iPhone 5 is definitely a bigger upgrade than the 4S.
