The download caps placed by Canadian ISPs such as BCE and Shaw (SJR) are "almost a human rights violation," says Netflix's (NFLX) chief content officer - the caps have forced Netflix to make non-HD streams the default option in the country. CEO Reed Hastings has bashed both Canadian (as well as American) broadband prices before, but they haven't stopped the company from getting 15% of Canadians to subscribe to its streaming service.

i was wondering where the articles about canadians being third world citizens because of their internet pricing were coming from.

never met a tub of money they couldn't find an accomodation with.

a stimulating exercise- go into the microfiche or the studio vaults to find the pro nazi op eds and movies and cartoons and news reels from back when nazi gold was so influential in the opinion salons of north america.

I guess human rights violations aren't what they used to be. Inflation is getting to everything.

Oh, boo, hoo Netflix! Quit crying and play the game by their rules. It's their country. If you don't like the rules, pick up your marbles and go someplace else.

I always get a kick out of the writers at Seeking Alpha. Like today, for example. The stock goes up 4.34% and all the doomsayers have disappeared. I'll bet you shorts are feeling some pain. I do feel for you. Expect some more.

Nope, I love when NFLX jumps, go look at my talks today, seriously! Every jump is Christmas until they fix the business, if they do...

What are the "download caps" placed on the down load?
Why are you discriminating against senior citizens who type in capital letters and use bold face, if they can, as it is much easier to read on a small screen. Who ever said Capitals letters is shouting lacks logic, writing does't shout, it prints. Bad ideas die a slow death.
