Chevron (CVX +0.4%) and Argentina's state-run YPF (YPF +0.4%) enter an accord to develop shale in the South American country's Vaca Muerta region, thought to be home to massive shale oil and shale gas resources. YPF is seeking funding and partners to carry out an ambitious exploration and production plan over the next five years.

And once all that work is done and the production is online, will CVX and YPF own it or will the Argentine government?
