In a company statement, Atlas Air Worldwide (AAWW -0.5%) says inspections haven't uncovered any issues with its GEnx engines, adding that its operations "are based on a deep commitment to and a track record of safety, compliance and security.". The company has five new Boeing 747-8 freighters currently in service with the engine, and an additional four to be delivered soon. Recently, the NTSB recommended inspection after two separate incidents where the engines failed.
