Brooks Automation (BRKS) continues its previously announced workforce reduction , saying it plans to cut 150 jobs, or 10% of its workforce, to reduce its operating costs and improve profitability in light of expected weakness over the near-term in the macro-economic environment. As a result it expects to see $2.4M-$2.8M in charges. It expects to complete the workforce reduction prior to the end of Q412.
