Tobacco firms Universal Corp. (UVV) and Alliance One International (AOI) agree to pay a combined $28.35M to settle bribery charges from the Justice Department and SEC. The two firms had allegedly paid more than $5M in bribes to foreign government officials in order to illegally obtain sales contracts.
