Just a day after Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) CEO Larry Blanford seemed to scoff at competition from Starbucks (SBUX), its rival is out an announcement on its new Verismo single-cup coffee machine. GMCR -2.6% premarket, SBUX -0.2%.
